The play buttons control the selected track layers to increase or decrease musical complexity. This behaviour can be emulated by the game logic, allowing for adaptive soundtracks.

This pack has a pleasant but also somewhat ethereal and magical vibe. Although designed for a casual game it would fit well into adventure, platformer, puzzle, RPG, or sandbox game.
The layers on the track are meant to add complexity to the track to correspond to changes in player state/location.
The “win” track would be best as a level complete stinger and the “lose” as a level fail or “game over” stinger.
